This innovative and eco-friendly walking stick features a built-in
torch,
warning light, siren alarm and integral magnet to pick up
metallic objects without bending down.
Why the Slik Stik?
The Slik Stik was invented by Denise Anstey, British Female Inventor of
the Year 2009, after a motoring accident left her significantly
disabled. None of the walking aids on the market met Denise's needs, so
she set to work designing the Slik Stik
Comfort and Control
The Slik Stik folds flat so you can keep it with you for whenever you
need it. It pops up from folded automatically, and is
adjustable
to four different heights. Stik's Stik soft grip handle and
shock-absorption system provide comfort and control.
Built-in Torch and Siren Alarm
A built in torch/warning light ensures Slik Stik's user can be
seen. The siren alarm attracts attention should the Slik
Stik's
user require emergency help, and the powerful 9 LED lights are
adjustable to a forward beam, ground flood, or safety
strobe. Slik Stik's ground flood function helps the user
better navigate
obstacles in low-light conditions. Fully charged, Slik Stik's
light lasts up to 2.5 hours.
All electronic features are rechargeable using the included mains
adaptor or manual wind-up charger. One minute's winding
provides
ten minutes of torch power.
It Even Picks Up Your Keys
A magnet built-in to the base of the Slik Stik allows you to pick up
dropped keys and other small metal objects.
