The Rainsaver Diverter kit allows you to channel water from your gutter's downpipe into your water butt. It also prevents your water butt from overfilling. By using a water butt to collect rain water you save money, help the environment and give yourself the opportunity to water your garden with fresh, uncontaminated water. The Rainsaver Diverter solves the problem of how to keep your water butt topped up.

When your rain butt is full you risk overflow, which could damage property foundations near to your home as water simply runs over the top of the container and in to the ground. A rainsaver diverter eliminates this worry by diverting rain water back to your standard water drainage system when the water barrel cannot hold any more.

Easy to install

The rainsaver diverter is simple to install for square and round downpipes (it is not suitable for cast iron pipes).  You will need to drill a hole in your water butt to accommodate the rainsaver diverter hose.

Mark the height at which your water collection butt should start diverting water to your drainage system. Attach the rainsaver diverter to the downpipe by cutting through the pipe. The rainsaver diverter hose connects your water barrel to the diverter and next time your water butt reaches the water fill cut-off point the rainsaver diverter will stop filling the water butt.
