The
Bye
Bye Standby In-ceiling Transformer allows you to control
low voltage halogen lights by remote control. The
installation of the In-ceiling transformer is straight forward
and once installed, you will be able to switch
your lights on and off using a Bye Bye Standby remote
control, wall switch or key fob. The Bye Bye Standby In-ceiling
Transformer
is suitable for lights up to 150W maximum.
A Switch and Dimmer control for Low Voltage Halogen Lights
The In-Ceiling Transformer replaces existing low voltage halogen
transformers with an energy saving alternative. It allows you to
control low voltage halogen lights
wirelessly and save electricity. You can turn on, off and
control the brightness of
your light using a remote control, wireless wall switch, motion sensor,
or online controller. Operating range is up to 10 metres, and it works
through walls and ceilings (with reduced range).
There are alternatives but we sell Bye Bye Standby
Bye
Bye Standby is a range of products that allow you to remotely control
electrical appliances by cutting
power to the devices plugged into them when they are not in use. This
saves the electricity used by the
devices that would have been consumed while they are in Standby
mode. Leaving them on standby unnecessarily uses electricity
costing you
money and contributing to Carbon Dioxide (CO
2)
emissions.
Bye Bye Standby requires no installation: the simplest
products in the range plug into an
existing
socket to
convert it to
remote control. Standby saving is
highlighted by the Energy Saving Trust
as a key energy saving tip.
Leaving a typical home entertainment system - TV, DVD, digital TV
receiver and hi-fi - on standby when not in use can cost £40 a year
according to a report from the consumer magazine, Which?, and
be
responsible for 245kg of carbon dioxide emissions. Using a Bye
Bye Standby products to quickly and conveniently switch this equipment
off when
not
in use
could save you
more than £40 a year and eliminate the carbon
dioxide
emission.
We
used to sell "Standby Buster", and we can still offer the Ecosaver
remote control socket system if you want it. But
Bye Bye Standby has
one difference that makes it notably better: Enistic (the company that
makes it) also sell products that extend the range in several great
ways.
