This 43 Watt Solar Panel easily handles the charging of appliances such
as
mobile phones, digital cameras, and more power hungry devices such as
laptop computers*. It is ideal for the caravan enthusiast who wants
independence from
mains power hook up and is even capable of charging larger appliances
such
as a colour TV*. The 43 watt
panel provides a
continuous trickle feed, maintaining and extending the life of any 12
volt battery and is particularly suited for maintaining 12V
caravan
batteries (for example up to a two week long holiday with modest power
use).

solar panel uses a high efficiency crystalline cell for “all weather”
charging. It is water resistant, has a robust construction for outdoor
use and a 20 year cell warranty and 10 year module
warranty. The 43 Watt solar panel is supplied with all the
necessary cable (5m),
connectors, detailed installation instructions and a
free digital test
meter to enable you to analyse the performance of both
solar panel
and battery. In common with all the larger panels, it includes bypass
diodes to minimise the effect of shadows on charging capability.

The 4Ah (STS01204)
Charge
controller
or equivalent
must be
used with this kit to protect the battery from being
overcharged and to prevent reverse current drain. If you do not have
one, it can be bought
here.
A solar panel
carry
bag
is available. This is a great addition where your panel will be
used in temporary locations - e.g. when used with a touring caravan.
Made from hard wearing shower resistant Cordura, the carry bag offers
tough custom built protection for your solar panel.

universal
stand is

to be used
“free standing”, angled to suit the time of day/year and conditions.
