Solar Mate Secure I Security Light

The Solar Mate Secure I is a PIR (Passive Infra Red), movement activated, security light with a high power beam which can illuminate up to 16 feet away. It is easily installed in just a few minutes and provides a low cost but high deterrent way of improving your property.

The Solar Mate Secure I is a simple idea that really works: create a security light with a small solar panel. During the day, sunshine charges the built-in battery, then during the night the powerful LED lamp shines whenever the integrated sensor detects movement. It is maintenance free and once installed provides security lighting in places where mains power does not exist.

The solar panel used by the Solar Mate Secure I employs the most advanced Thin Film solar cell technology. It charges the three internal AA rechargeable batteries which are built into the lamp unit. The panel is most effective when placed in direct sunlight so the Solar Mate Secure I comes with a 6 feet long (1.8m) cable to connect the solar panel to the light unit. The light itself contains three, double sized, super efficient LEDs which are powerful enough to light an area up to 16 feet away. The light is activated by the integrated PIR (Passive Infra Red) movement sensor which can be adjusted for both sensitivity and time (you can set the activation of the light for between 30 seconds and 20 minutes each time).
