The Solar Mate IV ES is the upgraded version of this multi-use
solar panel lighting kit. It replaces the older version that had four
fluorescent lights, with one that gives you six energy saving
bulbs, which
extends the usable lit area from 48 sq metres to 60 sq metres. With
this much light available the solar panel kit is a cheaper alternative
to laying armoured electricity cables to your garden shed.

The Solar Mate™ lighting kits are ideal for providing essential
light and electrical power to any outdoor buildings such as sheds,
workshops, summer houses, stables, agricultural buildings etc
This is a kit containing all the necessary elements (except a battery)
to illuminate six 9 Watt low voltage energy saving lightbulbs (each equivalent to a
standard 45
Watt bulb). Ideal for sheds, summer houses, workshops, beech huts,
stables and many more applications. When used with a 75Ah or 85Ah
battery, Solar Mate’s solar panel will collect enough energy
during the course of the day (even in Britain) to power its bulb for 8
hours a day. The lights will be
sufficient to illuminate up to 60 square metres.

Information
Solar Mate lighting kits are a complete solution for
generating light in outbuildings, sheds, caravans and workshops.
The kit comprises a high power solar panel which is suitable
for UK
weather conditions and all the necessary fixings and cables to be up
and
running. Just add a 75 or 85 Ah car or caravan battery (not included
but available from most motoring / caravanning shops) to complete the
installation and get
free electricity from solar power.
Ease of use
A Solar Mate kit is quick and easy to install, requiring no
special tools and can be operating within 1-2 hours.
Power Supplied
Depending on your needs there is a choice of kits! A Solar
Mate I can power a 5 Watt light bulb for up to 7 hours a day, whilst a
Solar
Mate V can power eight 9 Watt energy saving bulbs for up to 8
hours a day.
