This is a great idea, but beware that it's not a "direct retrofit" for old striplights, as the advertising blurb says. I purchased two for my under-cupboard lights in the kitchen, but they don't fit because the diamater of these energy-saving lights is much greater than the diameter of the original lights.

Note from My Greener Home: these bulbs have a diameter which is approximately 5mm greater than the standard bulb so they are not suitable for "skeleton" fittings. We have amended our product descriptions to show this.
