Make waste paper burn for longer on your open fire or wood burning
stove using Eko-Mania Briquette Bands. The reusable briquette
bands enable you
to roll up magazines, newspapers and any other waste paper into logs
for
immediate burning.
Burn Waste Paper Efficiently
Burning waste paper is an
eco-friendly
and carbon neutral way to heat your home at low-cost and
reduce
your energy bill. Loose sheets of paper, however, burn
quickly
and provide heat for only a short period. By rolling waste
paper
into a tight cylinder, and holding it in place with the Eco-Mania
Briquette Bands,
paper
will burn for
longer, providing more consistent heat.
Four
fully reusable
Briquette
Bands are supplied.
Reduce your energy bill
During 2008 the price of fossil fuels sky-rocketed, pushing the average
household energy bill up 42%, or £381 per year. The
majority of energy used by households goes into heating the home. Using
waste paper to produce your own fuel is
completely free, and
will
significantly reduce your heating bill.
Environmentally Friendly
Using waste paper is one of the most eco-friendly and low-cost ways to
heat your home. Burning paper
reduces
your use of fossil fuels such as gas, coal, and
oil. Paper
is a
carbon neutral
energy source
– the carbon dioxide released by burning paper is equal to the carbon
dioxide absorbed by the tree that was grown to make the paper.
Making your own paper brings recycling into your own home,
rather than sending waste paper away on a diesel-hungry dustbin lorry.
Briquette bands are custom-made by Eko-mania, the UK's largest
