Eco Fire Logs

Eco Fire Logs are briquettes of 100% recycled, dried cardboard. They radiate more heat, are easier to store, produce less smoke and less ash. Eco logs can be used on any fireplace, wood heater, AGA, combustion stove, outdoor chimnea or barbecue, so there's absolutely no reason not to immediately change to this more environmentally friendly wood burning alternative.

Less moisture means more heat

Eco Fire Logs are made from recycled cardboard, and because they're packed down into dense bricks they contain a lot less moisture than natural blocks of wood - some 6% moisture compared to a traditional 30%. The greater the wood to air ratio, the more there is to burn. Not only does this mean more heat, it also means there is less smoke to dirty your decor and there will be no spitting of hot coals, so Eco Fire Logs are safer to use than mixed wood loads of unknown origin. Typically, Eco Fire Logs will burn for up to 3 hours. They have a Gross Calorific Value of 15220 kJ/kg (3636 Cals/g), ie these burn similarly to wood.

Easy firewood storage

These tightly-packed briquettes of cardboard are much easier to store than traditional wooden logs for your fire, taking up much less space and packing in tighter (they measure approximately 3 inches by 6 inches by 2 inches), which means less time traipsing out to the garage in the rain to collect more firewood and more time toasting your feet by the fire. Eco Fire Logs burn completely to ash, which can simply be placed on your garden (unlike coal ash).

100% recycled cardboard

Eco logs truly are environmentally friendly. Made from recycled cardboard, rather than from wood chopped down specifically for the cause, they have a zero carbon footprint. The true genius of the design is in the compression of the cardboard, so no glues or chemicals are needed to bind the briquette together, leaving the wood 100% natural.

Keep dry and out of sunlight - this will cause condensation in the bag and impair the quality of the briquettes. Eco Fire Logs are packed in manageable 10 kg (approx) bags which contain 10-12 briquettes per bag. We supply in loads of 10 bags (approximately 100 kg), 25 bags (a quarter of a tonne), 50 bags (half a pallet) of 108 bags (one pallet load). Please select at the bottom of this page.

Delivery

All orders for Eco Fire Logs are delivered by pallet. The prices listed here include VAT and delivery to mainland England. Unfortunately, the Pallet Network charges more for delivery to Scotland, Ireland, Wales and offshore locations.
