Square
foot gardens are a fantastic way to teach children about food and where
it comes from. You guessed it: every square is a foot long and a foot
wide to
keep gardening simple,
but also organised.
Each square foot of garden can be used to grow a different vegetable,
so get your child started on potatoes before moving on to carrots, then
tomatoes. As one lot of food has flourished, simply clear your square
foot of garden and move on to the next.
Recycled plastic
This square foot garden is made from recycled plastic. It's made from
this material to
protect your mini
garden from
decaying in the damp and muggy environments it will experience outdoors
amongst the elements. There are very few metal parts in the garden in
order to
avoid rust.
Whilst these compartmental gardens offer
robust and strong housing for your
vegetables, they
do not house
pests or disease like wood could, which could eventually harm
your plants.
A range of sizes
The square foot garden comes in four different configurations:
- 2 feet x 2 feet
- 3 feet wide x 2 feet deep
- 2 feet wide x 3 feet deep
- 3 feet x 3 feet
The three larger gardens have two or three deeper sections for
vegetables such as carrots that need greater soil depth. Please make

These square foot gardens are
small enough
to sit anywhere, even sheltered on a balcony, and could be used for
plants as well as vegetables. They are made
from recycled materials, are
easy to
clean
and are tough enough to combat inquisitive children, so there's no
reason not to kit yourself out and get started straight away. They are
not
built just for children, as suitable for them as they are - the square
foot garden is for anyone with green fingers and an ordered mind.

This price includes delivery to UK Mainland addresses
excluding the Scottish Highlands
only. If you

not on UK mainland, please
get in touch with us. Everything is possible (including delivery to the
Republic of Ireland), it just may cost more.
