For a straight forward, all-inclusive solution to rainwater storage,
the 3P Technik Rain Tank Systems are the ideal package. Just specify
the number of tanks you want to buy and the correct package will
consist of all the parts, tanks and connectors you need, making the
buying
process much simpler. Also included in these packages is a Forta Duo
Pump to give you great water pressure from a hose, thereby saving your
arms and back aching from carrying a water can.
Large rainwater storage tanks plus accessories in a single
package
These systems offer all the parts you need to create a simple, scalable
water collection and storage system. One of the great benefits of a
large volume storage and pump combination is that you can water your
garden for a meaningful amount of time. If you own a standard 190 or
200 litre water butt and connect a pump (like the Forta Duo that we
supply) to it then a full water butt will be emptied in less than 4
minutes. How far will that get you? With our systems, each tank offers
just under a quarter of an hour of watering with a pump. So for example
if you have a three tank system which starts full, then
you can water your garden for 5
minutes per day, and it will keep going until the ninth day.
The premium quality wall tank is a big step up from a standard water
butt. It provides capacity for 750 litres (165 gallons) of garden
rainwater in a small footprint. This tank is suitable for watering-can
use or pumping, and is made from polyethylene. When empty each tank
weighs a pretty solid 38kg. The dimensions of the tank are 800mm x
600mm x 1790mm - so
its
just
short of six feet tall! The Wall Tank is available in four
colours:
Matt black, Sandstone (yellow/brown), Granite (grey), and British
Racing Green. Please choose your colour preference at the bottom of
this page.
Each tank comes with a 3/4 inch brass tap connector on the front (with
a basic hi-flow tap supplied), and two more 3/4 inch brass tank
interconnecting points (one each side). Also supplied are a metal
retention bracket, hole saw and rubber grommet sealing ring (for use
with the 3P Filter Collector).
The inclusion of a
powerful
Forta Duo pump means that you can enjoy the pressure and
convenience of mains water while you are actually using free rainwater.
Simply connect a hose or tap to the pump and it will run when you open
the tap and automatically shut off when you close it, so there is no
need to run and switch the pump off. The pump can supply water at over
4 bar of pressure allowing it to push water uphill as high as 134 feet
(41 metres). Using the pump, the flow rate through a 1/2 inch hosepipe
is similar to mains water. Attached to the inlet of the pump is a large
cartridge filter to ensure only clean water enters the pump.
Pump technical details:
- Power rating: 1,100W
- Weight: 11.5kg
- Maximum flow rate: 3,100 litres/ hour
- Supply voltage: 230/240V
- Water resistance: IP68 (it is submersible)
- Power cable: 10 metres in length
- Filtration: cartridge filter of 60 microns
What's included in the Rain Tank Systems?
Each system includes one or more 750 litre (165 gallon) tanks in either
black, grey, green
or sandstone colour (please choose at the bottom of this page), a sight
gauge (since the tanks have no lids this gauge will show you the water
level), the Forta Duo pump, easy-fit pump connection point with shut
off valve, a rainwater filter-diverter (which you install on the
down-pipe), and a 3/4 inch hi-flow tap.
 |
The filter collector cleanses the rainwater before
diverting it sideways into the tank, while leaves and debris continue
down to the drain. When the Rain-Tanks are full the filter collector
automatically sends excess rainwater to the drain as usual. The unique
removable filter cartridge can be taken out in seconds for cleaning. |
 |
This outlet multi hosetail connection from the pump
allows you to use 1/2 inch (13mm), 3/4 inch (19mm) or 1 inch (25mm)
hoses. |
 |
The Rain Tank System has a compact, sturdy metal valve
and simple, reliable brass connector enabling you to shut off the
outlet from the Rain Tank and disconnect the pump for storage. The
connection kit also includes 1 metre of heavy duty 1 inch hose. |
 |
The Tank to Tank connection kits consist of sturdy 25mm
diameter hoses with metal threaded connectors. |
Please choose your model using the table below as reference. Note that
