The Ecosavers Nightlight is perfect for landings, children's bedrooms, passageways and staircases, giving a soft and friendly light to keep you and your family safe. The EL (Electroluminescent) technology used in the Ecosavers Nightlight provides a gentle and friendly light while consuming remarkably little electricity. In fact the 0.18Watt of power it uses is about 500 times less than the energy of a conventional light bulb.

To use the Nightlight, just plug it into a mains socket (one at foot level is ideal) and the light is ready to go. The automatic light sensor switches off the nightlight during daylight and back on again when it gets dark.

If we assume a cost of 10 pence for unit of electricity, then this light can be used for 10 hours a day, for seven days a week, for 52 weeks a year and it will only cost you 7 pence in electricity for the whole year.
